What’s on a week, another recap, few thing i did in a week. It’s been a while i hadn’t compile a single post which cover vary item, so here it is.
210608 – It’s been a bored weekend, so i decide to go solo today, take Busway to Harmoni, then transit to Kota terminal as final destination. Take a walk down under newly “unfurnished” underpass which connect the terminal, stasiun Kota and museum Bank Mandiri. The underpass itself is far from done i think, the weird thing there’s an empty pool right in the middle of the underpass, and there’s a security “guard” post down there that doesn’t seem to be an eligible guard for the area.
Take my step on stair right to Mandiri museum (which i enter later after i had a quick ride around the area first). A guided cycle person for a spin on the old fish market, old dock harbor, Sunda Kelapa, turn around to Fatahilah, see what on puppet museum nearby (the 2nd floor is a bit awkward, old foreign scary lookin doll) and get my self back to Kota.

Ini ada teaser dari BC (Jakarta) terkait bahasa Inggris dan knowledge economy. Menurut q penggunaan bahasa asing (bilingual) untuk keperluan sehari2 di negeri ini dapat dikatakan “moderate”, umum dipakai tapi tidak merata (dalam arti perluasan penggunaan nya).
” Kami berpendapat bahwa penguasaan bahasa Inggris yang baik ikut berperan serta dalam memperkuat ekonomi Indonesia. Apakah Anda setuju? Bagaimana menurut Anda perkembangan dari pengajaran dan penggunaan Bahasa Inggris di Indonesia saat ini? Sudah baik? atau masih dirasa kurang di banyak sisi? ” (BC)
Jujur hanya 1/3 dari keseluruhan mereka yang mendapat kesempatan mengenyam pendidikan dasar dan pelatihan (termasuk tes basis TOEFL, TOEIC dan sejenisnya) yang bisa menggunaan bahasa asing (dalam hal ini bahasa Inggris) dalam kegiatan mereka. Jelas penggunaan bahasa asing dianggap perlu dalam banyak hal termasuk korespondensi, komunikasi bisnis atau sekedar media informasi (iklan, poster, dll)

Nih lg coba live cd nya SLAX (slackware), semuanya berjalan apik, tampilan bagus, tp yg q gak ngeh settingan koneksi ke LAN nya. Command prompt di linux kan beda am yg di DOS, makanya dr kmrn q baca tutorial di forum nggak ngeh2 .. hehe.
Tadi dah nanya2 sama bayu soal setting parameter yg mana dipake, dan sebenarnya ni OS dah detect network q di Kinfo nya .. ah ntr baca diktatnya lagi deh. Niatnya sih mau test-drive dulu di live cd, sebelum masangnya jadi dual-boot dengan XP di laptop.

In english term it so called “The Happening”, a new release movie by M Night Shyamalan’s. Like it previous movie it has all related to the mystery, a horrific event of nature and it surrounding that might makes us chill just to watch the movie itself.
I’ve just watch the movie this afternoon, and the movie is great !!
