Is it me, late to know or what ?! Near my house there’s a new mini mart called Alfa Midi (manage by PT Midimart Utama), which i already suspicious it must had anything related to retailer Alfa Mart. After surf few media archive (include here), i found Alfa Mart had offer a new format of their business with a bit change on their brand name of mini-mart.
It come to surprise me, knowing that 75% of Alfa Mart share had been purchased by big retailer Carrefour Indonesia, another addition of 1,000 and 4,000 sqm retail space for them. Thus former Alfa Mart owner soon release new type of convenient store named C-Store.

Kebijakan
Kebanyakan ekonom yakin pada kebijakan stimulus fiskal yang rasional, dimana perlu perhatian atas 3T (tepat waktu, tepat sasaran dan sementara).
- Stimulus yg terlalu lama, maka resesi bisa melebihi perkiraan bahkan sebelum stimulus berlaku.
- Pembiayaan hanya pada mereka yang benar2 butuh dan mampu membiayainya, maka permintaan akan meningkat.
- Dan jangan pertahankan stimulus lama-lama, karena jelas mengerogoti anggaran negara.
Ambil contoh Brazil degan tingkat suku bunga dibawah 7% justru tidak mengalami gangguan saat AS resesi, tingkat kredit tumbuh stabil. Dan karena hanya 1/5 dari perdagangan mereka yang ke AS, sisanya tersebar untuk ekspor ke Eropa, Asia dan Amerika latin. Dalam arti mereka juga ekspor dalam ragam produk yang saling mengimbangi atas perubahan harga komoditas. Jadi ekspor tidak sepenuhnya tergantung pada minyak seperti Venezuela.
Subprime
Mengenai in pernah q tulis disini, dan mengenai apa yang terjadi di AS lebih kepada “unknown the unknown”. Masalah jaminan atas kredit rumah di AS, dimana terdapat lapisan2 perantara antara investor dan pembeli rumah, dimana mereka memberi “insentif” pada kredit rumah baik atas harga yang ditawarkan maupun kemampuan pembeli rumah untuk melunasi.

Blog walk ke temen q, ada review mengenai RSS reader basis web seperti yang disediakan Google. Kalo dilihat dari kemudahan, jelas cara ini lebih simple, mobile dan bisa diakses kapan saja. Tapi untuk personalisasi tentu kita juga ingin baca RSS yang kita subscribe saat offline, nah kebetulan q dah lama pake open-source Thunderbird (dr Mozilla)
Hanya ingin berbagi pengalaman waktu menggunakan software ini. Ketimbang Outlook yang ribet, software ini lebih agile (lincah; dalam arti mudah di kustomisasi dan bisa multiple email account) plus nilai tambahnya ada pada RSS reader dan kemudahan setting POP email account kita di Gmail (karena udah ada menunya sendiri).
Dan yang terakhir, seperti attachment diatas semua pesan email (dan email account lainnya) beserta alamat RSS yang kita subscribe bisa di backup dengan software Mozbackup. Jadi kalo ada masalah (ini pun jarang terjadi ?!) tinggal restore deh.

Genap setahun menggunakan broadband Spe** dari Telk*, dan kebetulan jaringan broadband FO lama yang offline dirumah akan difungsikan kembali dengan Fast* dari First*. Kalo mau dihitung2 beda kecepatan basic sih gak jauh beda, namun speed dari SP** max. 512 kbps sementara Fast** morax. 3 mbps (at least lebih gede dr speed hsdpa yg ada di hp).
Mau mulai batasi pos pengeluaran yang gak perlu dan memiliki nilai variabel, q lebih milih fixed subscription, karena trend penggunaan tidak terbatas pada gede di volume saja, tapi di time yang digunakan. Jaga-jaga billing SP** yang tak terduga (walau sejauh ini masih terkendali), jadi untuk 15 hari kedepan q akan lihat kinerja dan stabil/tidak 2 jaringan ini dirumah. Dan pasti salah satunya harus di stop langganan-nya.
Hmm, kalo mau diinget-inget 7 tahun lalu akses cuma andalin modem 56k dan broadband hanya bisa ditemui di warnet2 yang masih sedikit sekali, home broadband mahal sekali. Semua berubah, grafik harga sudah pada titik “paritas” supply dan demand.
bUzz: Ada yang unik, layanan broadband NEC di Jepang sekitar US$ 50, bahkan mereka tawarin paket 3 bulan gratis broadband untuk tiap aplikasi baru dan mendapatkan akses dengan kecepatan hingga 7 mbps lho. Kebiasaan warga sana sebelum 3 bulan akses gratis mereka berakhir mereka akan putus kontrak dan buat aplikasi baru untuk 3 bulan gratis berikutnya 1 minggu setelah terminasi kontrak terakhir mereka. I though it was rain here in JKT, but it comes to be as hot as it used to. The northern JKT is flooded recently. Still but here at the central, Alhamdulillah still dry enough to walk on. Here some stuff happen in the last few day.
another day ..
- I missed the “padang” food here at PKU, there are many specialty food here than what you could find there at SUMBAR. From many stall around the city i recommend KAPAU near Pasar Bawah, GOBIND at Pattimura or try KOBU (which i already ate since I’m in school). Eat it “Nasi Ramas” on pack or just eat on the spot.
- It’s a rainy weekend in PKU, with its uncertain weather. Guys at the other house is still finishing the 2nd floor and front fence, stair remain unfinished. My lil’ bro’ back in school these Monday, pick him in the afternoon.
another day ..
- The new STB being installed at JKT hub, migrating FM Analog CATV to Digital Home cable. Now i had to watch the tv with these decoder, w/o it i just got local terrestrial channel. I think it’s good since most rented dormitory misused it to offer room tv more, than what they had paid for.
- Making adjustment to home and personal expenses, omitting (or change) service plan to a least pricey one, so i could save more. Most goods price gone mad lately.
another day ..
- It was a great flight from PKU to JKT, utilze my GFF card and earn some more point to my account. But indeed i hate the fuel surcharge that keep hike and make the airfare getting more pricey.
- I used to had a cab from airport to home, but today i prefer wait for the bus to sent me to Gambir instead, then ride a cab to home from there.
- I take a short time to reply some email and make few calls. I almost forgot, pay a visit to old fellow neighbor on coming event, Insya Allah i could help a bit later in march.
- Refrigerate my snacks, some bottled “grapes” to accompany “cemilan”.
- Ooo chiny and roy just called to come by for an invitation. It was a good news, they finally reach this point, Alhamdulillah. Got a new car guys ?!@#
And for the rest HAPPY NEW 1 Muharram 1429H. Hope a great luck lies ahead
